Being a lady of a certain age (53) I felt stuck in a rut as concerns my make-up and skincare regime. I’d previously contacted Jane regarding her bridal party make-overs, but unfortunately she was booked up for that weekend, so I made a mental note to myself, to contact her after the wedding, which I did.
Shortly after… I made an appointment to have a make-up lesson. My main objective was to achieve that natural look that we all so desire. I have a tendency to be slightly heavy handed with my make-up and I felt that I needed freshening up and modernising somewhat… maybe even dragged out of the 80’s!!
Jane talked me through everything and showed me the correct colours that suit my eyes along with correct foundation colours to suit my skin. I was extremely happy with the results and can’t thank Jane enough for her patience throughout the 2 hour appointment.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Jane for a make-up lesson… especially if you, like me, are (were) stuck in a time warp and need advice on how to present your face in a more up to date manner.
I also liked the follow up email, which detailed all the products that she used, and an explanation on how to apply them. It has taken me a few attempts to get it right… but now I’m happy that I know how to make the best of my features. Thank you Jane

Hi Jane, Thank you very much - I am buying this stuff asap!! I felt very exposed at first compared to usual (!) but it grew on me very quickly and I went out that evening with that makeup on and loved it!

I went to one of Jane’s masterclasses, which was all about achieving a natural make-up look. Jane couldn’t have been more helpful in the way she explained all the techniques and skin care tips. The class was so professionally done, at her beautiful studio barn in Lewes. It was not only great fun but so informal and relaxed. Jane has a great ability to impart her knowledge in an easy going and friendly way and her understanding on hot to accentuate your features and colours to complement you is a life long technique you come away with! Her classes are well worth attending.

I can't thank you enough for my makeup. You made it so special and was exactly the way I had envisaged it, if not better.
