Company’s responsibilities to reduce the risk of contracting or spreading Coronavirus through the provision of service(s)

The following protocols will be followed:

  • Before and after a Client’s consultation, good hand hygiene, including but not limited to washing hands with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds and using hand sanitiser, containing a minimum of 70% alcohol, will be applied fastidiously to all areas of the hands.

  • Remaining vigilant for Symptoms:

In the event that Jane Mather believes that she may have become infected with Coronavirus, or is informed that someone with whom she has been in contact in the past 14 days may have become infected with Coronavirus, she shall:

    • Follow the advice, at that time, of the UK National Health Service and UK Government in respect of quarantine periods.

  • Ensure that all surfaces and touch points in the Studio, including but not limited to door handles, chairs, tables, clothing rails and mirrors are cleaned with an appropriate anti-viral cleaning fluid prior to and after providing the service(s) to each Client.

  • When the service allows, the Studio will be set up to have at least a 1 metre gap between Jane Mather and the Client.

  • Windows will be left open within either Studio to aid good ventilation of the room. The Client should ensure they come appropriately dressed (and may need to be prepared to wear their coat for warmth) for the room to be colder than in normal circumstances.

  • The Company regrets that it is not possible for the Client to invite any guests to their scheduled booking.

  • For specific consultations, procedures have been adapted to reduce the risk of contracting or spreading Coronavirus:

    • Make-up Lessons

      • The Client must acknowledge that it’s not possible to receive this service without them removing their face mask (if they have chosen to wear one) for the make-up application part of this service

      • At this time the Client has one of two options: (1) For Jane Mather to not apply make-up directly to the Client’s face. Where necessary, a face chart will be used to demonstrate how make-up is best applied. The Client will apply make-up to their own face under Jane’s guidance, or (2) For Jane Mather to apply make-up to the Client’s face. Jane will demonstrate the application of make-up to one-side of the Client’s face and the Client can then replicate this on the other side.

      • When able to do so Jane Mather will maintain a safe distance from the Client

    • Colour Consultations

      • The Client must acknowledge that it is not possible to receive this service:

        • (1) without Jane Mather being within 2 metres of them - Jane Mather will be standing behind the seated Client and placing the drapes under the Client’s chin; and

        • (2) without them removing their mask (if they’ve chosen to wear one) at a particular time. In order to determine an accurate colour reading the Client will be asked to remove their mask during the draping process.

      • All colour drapes, headbands and white overall will be left for 3 days between use or, where this is not possible, steamed between use.

    • Personal Shopping

      • Jane Mather will carry with her a face mask and hand sanitiser on any shopping trip

      • As far as possible Jane Mather will maintain a safe distance from the Client

    • Wardrobe Edit (at the Client’s home)

      • The Company requests that only the Client be present in the same room as Jane Mather

      • The Client must acknowledge that it is not possible to receive this service without Jane Mather touching items belonging to the Client, including but not limited to: clothes, handles, and hangers and this obviously brings with it associated risks for the Client.

      • As far as possible Jane Mather will maintain a safe distance from the Client

      • If the Client would prefer Jane Mather to wear a mask throughout the session please let her know before she enters your home.

    • Style Consultation

      • The Client must acknowledge that it’s not possible to receive part of this service without Jane Mather being within 2 metres of them - this is to take a few measurements of the Client’s body-shape.

Client’s responsibilities to reduce the risk of contracting or spreading Coronavirus through the provision of Service(s)

The Company asks that the Client adheres to (as a minimum) the following protocols:

  • The Client should attend the consultation on her own.
