The 18th May was a very exciting (and nerve wracking) day as it saw the first in our new series of Confident with Colour Workshops, being held at The George in Rye. We had nothing to worry about... the workshop sold out, with 12 ladies attending, and the feedback has been so positive! The morning was packed with full of giggles, expertise shared and hands-on flower arranging - themed on bringing summer colour into your life.
This month I am celebrating nine years' in business!
I'm delighted to welcome to my Blog today, Lesley Schillinger, part-owner of Ladies Who Lunch Jewellery... and my co-host at our recent 'Accessorising with Confidence' ladies styling evening. We will be finding out all about Lesley's business and gaining her advice on how to care for your costume jewellery.
A few months ago I was approached by Charlotte Pearson, Features Writer for etc Magazine asking if I would liked to be interviewed for a feature to appear in their March edition - I was absolutely delighted to be asked and jumped at the opportunity!
On 2nd March Lesley (co-owner of Ladies Who Lunch Jewellery) and I hosted our ladies styling evening, "Accessorising with Confidence". We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have been overwhelmed by the wonderful feedback we have received! Thank you to everyone that attended and for helping to make it such a success :)
Mia described the theme of her wedding as classic, taking the elements of vintage style that she liked and with a touch of elegance. I just loved the dusty pink and nude colour scheme, so, so pretty!
Are you looking for a lovely way to celebrate Mothering Sunday? On 2 March this year I will be hosting, along with Lesley Schillinger of Ladies Who Lunch Jewellery, a Ladies Styling Evening at the beautiful Powder Mills Hotel in Battle, East Sussex. It will be a fun, relaxing, informative evening, full of indulgence - the perfect way to spend some quality time with family and friends!
I have been smiling ever since I found out... I am thrilled to be announcing that I have been shortlisted in the Guides for Brides 5* Customer Service Awards.
In comes Jane Mather Limited and out goes Image Trees Limited.
I created Image Trees in 2007. Where has the time gone!?! I have been considering rebranding my company for about the last 12 months and have been doing lots to facilitate this change, talking with graphic designers and marketing experts, but most importantly I have been talking to you, my clients.
It's a big step and there are lots of things involved including creating a new website (www.janemather.co.uk), a unique logo representing my business ethos and updating my Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram accounts. However, the time is now right and I'm really excited that the launch will take place during February 2016.
This month I am delighted to welcome back my guest blogger, Anita Black, beauty therapist and owner of Options Beauty Salon in Edenbridge. Anita is sharing her knowledge on how to care for your hands and nails during the harsh Winter weather. If like me you are constantly applying hand and nail cream but it seems to have no affect on the dryness, then read on...
